In 2012, while pursuing my MD in Clinical Yoga in India, I was involved in a severe bus accident that left me with multiple fractures in both legs. The physical pain and emotional turmoil shattered my hopes of resuming my studies and returning to a normal life.
During this difficult time, my father’s friend introduced me to Reiki. With little to no interest, I reluctantly joined a basic Reiki course and began practicing self-healing. Initially, I noticed no significant changes, but as I persisted, I gradually experienced remarkable improvements—not just in my physical recovery but also in my mental and emotional well-being. By divine grace, I was able to complete my postgraduate studies alongside my classmates.
As a Naturopathy and Clinical Yoga Practitioner, I had been treating clients for various health conditions, but I never considered making Reiki my profession. Initially, I practiced Reiki healing for family and friends. Seeing the profound results they experienced; I gained the confidence and motivation to pursue advanced training. I eventually completed my Master level in Reiki and decided to dedicate myself to sharing this powerful energy healing technique.
Today, I am deeply grateful to be spreading the wisdom of Reiki, a traditional Japanese healing method, and collaborating with others to bring this transformative practice to more people.”
My postpartum weight loss journey
Becoming a mother is one of the happiest moments in life. When it is combined with high energy, self-confidence, and good health, motherhood becomes an even greater blessing. However, after the birth of my daughter, the joy of motherhood was soon overshadowed by unexpected weight gain. I put on an extra 13 kilograms, which led to physical discomfort, low energy levels, and a significant drop in self-confidence. I often felt disheartened when I looked at my favorite clothes that no longer fit.
This experience sparked a strong desire within me to regain my previous shape—a healthy weight paired with a sense of beauty and confidence. Determined to make a change, I embarked on a healthy weight loss journey. I focused on a balanced diet, proper nutrition, regular exercise, yoga, meditation, Reiki, and other lifestyle improvements.
And guess what? I did it! I was once again able to wear my favorite clothes with pride and happiness. Along with losing the excess fat, I experienced incredible improvements in my overall health—better gut health, clearer skin, reduced hair fall, and higher energy levels.
